DSPAT seeks individuals for its future Board of Directors

One of the primary goals of Direct Support Professionals of Tennessee (DSPAT) is to become its own 501c3 organization. Every non-profit organization must have a Board of Directors as its governing body. While appointment or election to a Board of Directors is an honor, board members also have important legal and fiduciary responsibilities that require a commitment of time, skill, and resources.

DSPAT is in the beginning stages of developing its Board of Directors and is seeking interested individuals to assist with leading DSPAT to the next level. The DSPAT Board of Directors needs individuals committed to professionalizing the Direct Support Professionals (DSP) workforce. It also needs individuals with expertise in business, finance, fundraising, program development and grassroots lobbying to help the organization thrive on its own.
